Type 2 Games

I am prepping to hike Havasu Falls with friends at the end of the month. I have done some crazy hikes before. So… I shouldn’t be scared. However, the sheer amount of FB groups created for people prepping for this hike makes me so nervous! It’s like the overload of info on what to bring has psyched me out and has my stomach in knots! I mean… I get nervous every time I hike. Like abnormally so. So I just keep doing it, figuring I won’t be scared one day!

Prepping for Havasu Falls.

This week in class we had to use a mock account to search through Google Analytics for their store and find all kinds of random information. While encouraged to find information on our own, we were guided by video on what to look for and where. But yet again, it’s like there were so many options I was nervous I would get it wrong! After checking my answers… yup. I got the very first questions wrong. And it was the easiest question!

My fault was…. getting nervous in the first place. My anxiety caused me to overlook part of the question and be hasty in finding the answer. Gosh dang it if two things this week weren’t valuable life lessons. For hiking… for business… whatever. Don’t allow your anxiety to cause you to overlook simple answers. Most things can be solved by just taking a breath and looking at things logically. So as I finish out the semester and prep for a new one, I need to remember my Google Analytics lesson. Just breathe. It’s ok. I can totally hike this.
