Uber Lists
I am a list person. It started when I became a mom. My days were suddenly consumed with poop and sitting on the couch being a literal cow. I constantly felt like I got nothing done. My sweet mother-in-law suggested I make a to-do list for the day, but… added to it as the day went. Surprisingly, I found I got a lot done! It may not have been the big things I had originally planned. But what I got done did need to be done. Fast forward to today… I am addicted to my planner! I have been using a planner that has goal tracking (CLICK HERE). It is fantastic for goalkeeping! It is filled with things I HAVE to do (drop off a child at wrestling) and things I make time to do because I like them (drawing and designing). It helps me keep on track and better make time for myself. Which… I am horrendous at doing!
In class this week we made the step to connect our websites to Google Analytics. I don’t know why, but this felt like a big step for me. I mean… it was easy. But Google Analytics will help track and monitor so much on my website for me! I have created websites. For me… for others… Never have I felt I needed Google Analytics. I kinda like that this course pushes me to do things I would never have tried otherwise. I am not sure I would have started selling anything were it not for this course! Even better, this course is kinda like an uber list of how to start a web business! We perfected Google ads this week to make sure they only hit those who actually may want to see them. This made me feel better and… like a majority of the Google Ads I see may not have had hand-holding or guidance on what to put in their ads to direct them to the right customers. I guess we shall see on that one! The whole class feels like a crazy test. A test I am planning on passing!
